on my birthday

My birthday was a fairly low-key affair. Well, let’s face it, at my age you can’t go mad. Got some fantastic swag – Torchwood on DVD (woo! to more Captain Jack pervage), a ton of Sanctuary Spa smellies, a lovely Kahuna watch from my mum, an itunes gift card from sis and some DS games, big box of chocolates and lots of other goodies from D. Sadly, the day was slightly marred by the fact that dad still refuses to speak to me and I have to admit that did upset me quite a lot – especially since he was in the SAME FUCKING ROOM as me at one point and yet he couldn’t even manage a ‘happy birthday’. Pfffft. I’m so, so glad D was around to make the day fun – we went to the seaside and had chips because, as everyone knows, they always taste better when you have them on the seafront don’t they?

Happy birthday, my lovely. Sorry your Dad’s a tool, but yay for having Mr. D. to take your mind off things. :D

And Mr D did it all whilst suffering from Man Flu. What a hero ;)

Glad you had a good birthday, Sharon. :) Chips DO taste better by the seaside, don’t they? So does candyfloss and rock I find.

Loads of salt and vinegar – can’t beat it. Yum.

    Nice doodle, Vixx!
