Procrastinating, geeky and a little bit ranty – that’s about the best way to describe me. By day (and night, and weekends) I’m one of many overworked and underpaid frontline NHS staff (though I won’t blog too much about work here; purely because nobody would believe some of the fuckwittery that goes on.) When I’m not catching up on sleep I waste far too much time online, cook vegetarian food and amazing chocolate brownies, go for long walks and play with my dog (he’s a gorgeous black labrador). I’m currently studying towards a BA (or maybe a BSc, haven’t decided yet) with the Open University and at some point I really need to start having driving lessons again. I’ve been with D, my lovely boyfriend, for almost 3 years now but no, we do not plan to marry. Or have kids. Or do anything that would require my mum to buy a new dress and a big hat.
This blog is a collection of random thoughts, photos, recipes, rants, ramblings and biting social commentary. Okay, maybe not that last one. And the blog name comes from the Alanis Morissette song, “Ironic”, in case you were wondering.
